continuing to shoot.. Im not sure if I'm happy or not with this image. I feel it is missing something, the substance that makes its a little punchy perhaps? I think I need to run from 'safe pictures' and start pushing for more!

Im starting to build a series but Im doubting its going to be cohesive now.

I have continued to shoot.. although I fear I have gone off course with this photo. I started shooting and it just seem to fall into place so I decided to just let the image go in its own direction if you get what i mean. Don't think its going to fit in with the series but Im creating images so Im happy.

new project

thinking I need to get started on a new project since leaving uni.. I have shot bits here and there but nothing really thats taken off. Having a deadline for a brief might actually help and give some motivation to continue shooting a body of work.

I have been looking at many sources of inspiration lately, from painters to photographers in-particular the work of Annie Leibovitz. Im interested in the painterly qualities to portraits and I think this is something which im going to build on from my pervious series of work.

so here is my first image and hopefully there will be the continuation coming soon.
